About Sarah
Sarah served her first term as the Doylestown Township Tax collector from January 2014 – December 2017. She regained her seat and started her 2nd term as Tax Collector on January 3, 2022. She is a long-time resident of Doylestown and is dedicated to serving the community. As tax collector, she built a separate and professional office for taxpayers to be able to ask questions and pay their real estate taxes. She expanded public office hours during peak processing times, assisted taxpayers with property assessment appeals, applying for the homestead/farmstead exemption, submitting documentation for the PA tax rebate program, and helped our veteran’s with filing for exemption, among other improvements.
She is employed locally as Director of Student Accounts at Delaware Valley University, is a member of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collectors Association, the Bucks County Tax Collectors Association, as well as the Bucks County Council of Republican Women. She is a Pennsylvania Qualified Municipal Tax Collector and a Certified Public Notary.
Her bachelor degree in accounting was earned from Susquehanna University and her Master’s in Business Administration was earned from Delaware Valley University. Sarah has completed all 4 parts of the CPA Exam and has over 28 years’ experience in the accounting field.
Sarah and her husband Tyler are dedicated parents to their 5 children, JP, Faith, David, Luke and Laura. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, driving her kids around and watching them play sports.
